Looking for Manager / Sr Manager - Banking Alliance / Business Development - Lending

Minimum Experience: 5+ Years in Sales / Business Development in Co-Lending business for various channels in Financial services.

Work from Office - Day Shift - Mon - Fri

- The individual shall be responsible for Liasoning, Building and Driving key partnerships with Banks / NBFC's / lenders and managing the relationship.

- This position requires a strong understanding of lending products, market dynamics, and business development strategies. The primary objective is to identify and pursue lending opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and increase the loan portfolio to achieve revenue targets.

Job Description:

Identify and Evaluate Opportunities:

- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential lending opportunities.

- Assess market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to develop lending strategies.

- Evaluate lending proposals and determine their viability and profitability.

- Develop and Implement Business Development Strategies:

- Develop and execute business development plans to expand the lending portfolio.

- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, partners, and potential borrowers.

- Collaborate with internal teams, such as credit risk, legal, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of lending transactions.

Acquire New Clients:

- Generate leads and proactively identify new lending prospects through various channels, including networking, industry events, and referrals.

- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure lending agreements.

- Present lending solutions tailored to the client's needs and financial goals.

- Manage Existing Client Relationships:

- Act as the primary point of contact for existing lending clients.

- Strengthen client relationships by providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or issues.

- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional lending products.

Partner Activation:

- Liaison with internal stakeholders viz. Product, Tech, Business, Risk etc. to ensure smooth and successful activation of Lending partner activation

- Monitor Market Trends and Competitor Activities:

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities.

- Analyze market dynamics and adjust lending strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.

- Provide regular reports and updates on market insights, lending portfolio performance, and business development activities.

- Achieve Revenue Targets:

- Set ambitious revenue targets and work towards achieving or exceeding them. Monitor lending portfolio performance, analyze key metrics, and implement corrective measures when necessary.

- Continuously seek opportunities to optimize lending processes and improve operational efficiency.

Skills required:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

- 5+ years' experience in Business Development / Sales in Lending roles.

- In-depth knowledge of Lending Products, credit analysis, and risk assessment.

- Strong understanding of financial markets, lending regulations, and industry best practices.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.

- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
