Manager/Senior Manager - Business Analysis - Credit Risk Reporting - Big4 (7-14 yrs)

We are now hiring for a leading big 4 in Pune.

Project Objectives :

- The Economic Risk capital Programme is to produce management information reports for use in various functions across the bank such as risk appetite monitoring, performance management etc,, to be implemented onto the bank's strategic risk reporting infrastructure.

- The role of the credit risk reporting business analyst within the ERC Programme team is available, with the ideal candidate able to demonstrate previous experience of the majority of the responsibilities and experience for the role, as detailed below:

Main Responsibilities and Key Tasks :

- The role involves working as part of a team, managing the strategic delivery of the Credit Risk ERC Strategic Reporting, working closely with IT and various credit risk management teams across the bank to achieve a replacement for the prototype reporting currently in place.

The key responsibilities for this role will include :

- In depth analysis of current state credit risk reporting processes, data and controls

- Detailed documentation of business requirements and functional specifications

- Detailed documentation of credit risk data requirements and data lineage

- Communication with credit risk officers and credit controllers, credit risk reporting representatives, and interaction with IT analysts

- Knowledge of process flows and complex system flows and interactions

- Providing subject matter expertise of credit risk reporting data, process, control and technology into requirements and solution design

- Facilitating prioritisation of work items

- Liaising with IT to define and monitor IT system solutions to support business change

- Co-ordinate testing: create test plans, define and manage UAT and manage defect tracking and resolution.

- Managing user testing and acceptance of process and system change

- Defining and documenting credit risk report production procedures for the new business processes and applications.

- User adoption and training

Experience and Desirable Attributes :

- 7 years + relevant experience

- Strong business analysis skills

- Strong knowledge/ experience of ERC and Credit Risk reporting

- Worked in a change function within financial institution/professional services

- Proven technology/data change experience in an investment or large commercial bank or consultancy firm

- Experience in various project management methods - waterfall, Agile

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills - ability to identify cause and effect, to identify problems, create solutions, and to communicate results in a structured manner

- Proven track record of delivery of change initiatives with material systems content

SQL skills : ability to understand and run basic SQL queries

- Good interpersonal and strong presentational skills, with a proven ability to translate vague requirements into robust and detailed documentation

- Sound knowledge of defining, writing & executing UAT Test Scripts

- Experience of using JIRA & HP ALM (or HP Quality Center) for requirements & Test management

- Good grasp of risk systems architecture - credit risk

- Strong matrix resources management and stakeholder management skills

- Recognized relevant professional qualification (e.g. Prince 2, PMI, ACA, CIMA, CFA, MBA, CA, risk certification).

- Familiarity with business processes, financial products, economic risk capital, risk management and regulatory requirements (e.g. BCBS239, etc).
