Location : Africa/Western Africa Overview of the Position. The Branch Manager would control operations with respect to volumes, risks, systems, overheads and local Staff and runs the business on a day-to-day basis. He will continue to focus on open market to reach specific Market share from this segment to capture the leadership position. Detailed Job Responsibilities : Delivery of volumes by : 1) Distribution : Setting up depots putting up the necessary structure and processes in place for GRN and billing and risk controls. 2) Business development : mapping the key markets, finding the key buyers of bags and appointing new customers and initiating business. 3) Hiring, training and supervising sales representatives and ensuring that volumes targets are executed. 4) Implementing schemes and promos for distributors to grow sales 5) Ensuring all systems and processes of stock, sales and outstanding reconciliations are in place and risks in control for the business. 6) Ensuring that bag-marks are visible and available in all key markets 7) Additional responsibility of business development in institutional customer segment - small and mid-sized yogurt manufacturers. - This will involve sharing samples that will be tested by customers - Negotiation of price and price approval from PCH 8) Exploring new opportunities e.g. Offer a mix of products - Low protein fat-filled milk powder with full cream milk powder to minimize costs for buyers The role requires residing in upcountry locations and frequent travelling Qualification &amp; Experience : 2 to 5 years post MBA experience from Top B - Schools (IIM, IIFT, SIBM, IMT,XLRI)
