Position: : Manager / Sr. Manager / AVP - Taxation

Experience: 8 to 13 years preferably working with Insurance Sector or from BFSI

Qualification : CA Qualified (1st Attempt)

Location: Pune

Purpose of the Job :

- Comply with provision of direct and indirect tax .

- Computation of tax liability, timely payment, filing of returns and furnishing information for the purpose of assessments or other scrutiny by tax authorities.

- Addressing queries from internal and external customers, related to tax on day to day issues.

- Interaction with tax consultants, Life Insurance industry peers, on tax issues.

- Identifying potential areas of dispute with authorities and preparing for corrective action.

- Furnishing the information auditors, management and other stakeholder.

Major Challenges :

- Frequent changes in tax provisions, and rules.

- Lack of clarification on various tax provisions.

- Different stands on issues by different insurance companies.

- Longer span for investigation and litigation.

- Good interpersonal skills

- Excellent communication

- Stakeholder management

- Well versed in current trends and practices

Responsibilities:
