Manager/Senior Business Analyst - Finance - Consulting Firm

Purpose of Position :

a. Lead strategic programs across the corporation to solve complex financial challenges.

b. Identify relevant risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure sustainable business profitability.

c. Identify emerging opportunities in the segment. Run simulations using relevant frameworks and analytical/ financial models.

d. Produce regular reports using financial data, and work collaboratively across the entire finance team to analyze business performance and strategy.

e. Develop business models and partnership models where required

Principal Accountabilities :

a. Analyzing current and past financial data. Looking at current financial performance and identifying trends.

b. Prepare a five-year roads map of the business.

c. Preparing reports on the above information and communicating the insights of these reports to the wider audience and develop long-term commercial plans.

d. Exploring different investment opportunities. Developing initiatives and polices that may improve financial growth.

e. Prepare financial models and perform both regular and ad hoc business and financial analysis to support strategic decision making.

f. Develop excel based tools to improve the efficiency of the financial tracking and reporting process.

g. Prepare periodic forecasting, as well as provide detailed input to the ongoing operational and strategic initiatives.

h. Identifying arbitrage opportunities in the niche segment.

i. Elucidate and prepare approach note for any novel approaches.

Qualifications :

a. CA/ CFA/ B Tech in any stream and MBA from premier institute.

b. Prior experience in mining/ ICM preferred.
