Manager - Seller Onboarding Marketplace Role Summary The Marketplace team is a Central team that works horizontally across Category and other teams and helps drive key business metrics for the Marketplace sellers while continuing to bring new sellers to the platform. In this role the person would be responsible for managing the Onboarding process for new sellers on marketplace. The incumbent will need to have a strong understanding of business metrics which affect new seller activations and design processes and metrics to maximize the activations on the platform. He/she will work with external partner teams to drive operations and desired business outcomes. This role will require the person to work closely with internal stakeholders in Marketing, Product, Catalog, Verification teams etc to drive a positive overall experience for sellers. The Partners here refer to organizations that work with providing business support to Sellers on Marketplace. Job Description - Understand key enablers which help in driving new seller activations on the platform - Responsible for the operational performance of outsourced partner/s - Closely work with marketing and other teams, partners to plan and strategize to meet the business objectives - Ownership of Day-to-day operations to ensure all deliverables are met by the partner as per the agreed SLA - Roll-out organizational goals/objectives across the partner operations - Facilitate weekly, monthly and quarterly review meetings with the partner teams - Ability to understand data trends and make inferences and recommend actions for improvement - Plan for long term and mid term goals for the charter and devise business plan for the unit - Keep a close watch on the adherence to all the contractual obligations by the partner - Will be based out of FK office in Bangalore with occasional travel to Partner locations Mandatory Skills - MBA with good Operations understanding and vendor management experience, and 2-5 years in a Managerial role, Program management skills, relationship management, interpersonal communication - Ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams with an eye for detail. Ability to multi-task and work independently and as a team. Proficient in MS applications; ability to draw inferences from data and drive decisions Desirable Skills: - Retail/category management experience, program management skills, MBA from a premier B school would be an advantage
