We are looking for a Manager - SMS Operations for India's largest mobile tower installation company based at Gurgaon/ Indore. Job Details : Location : Gurgaon/ Indore. ( Delhi Circle/ MPCG Circle) Grade/ Title : Manager Reports to : Circle COO / Head O&M Work Timings : 9AM-6PM, 5 days , however candidate must be flexible and open to stretch ; CTC : Industry Standards Experience : 6+ years of experience ; Ex armed forces / police (necessarily as an Officer), in security and intelligence gathering, knowledge of a cell site incl material, clean past record is a must (No police record), Good analytical skills, outstanding network inside the state. Education : Full Time Graduate Only , preferably a post graduate Knowledge Required : Risk mitigation planning, pilferage, business continuity planning, cell site knowledge, material management (Desirable- Telecom knowledge) ; From normal patrolling vehicles, concept of Quick Reaction Teams would be introduced based on in-house model. The teams would be based on Armed Forces concept of QRT and only professionals from Forces would be engaged in patrolling so as to reduce reaction time towards specific theft incidents. Other Dimensions :Interaction with Landlords, Statutory authorities including visioning agencies Peoples Dimensions : SMS partners team, security guards Internal Interactions : With SCM as seeker (For PO's/Agreement related to SMS/Procurement of security gadgetry), Legal as seeker (Agreement / legal notices and superdari issues), Opex as seeker (All payments/Procurements), Estate and deployment as provider(Access/Hold sites/Locked sites resolutions), HR/IR as seeker(For labour laws and other allied compliances). External Interactions :SMS partners, Police, Local administration, OSDs Skills / Competencies : Certified protection professional, personnel management skills, intelligence/info collection skills, leadership qualities ; Basis Military/Police training/ certified protection specialists. Major Challenges :FIR/DDR registration, statutory compliances, vehicle monitoring during patrolling, day patrols, SOP and Processes following, state liaison, man/ material movement management at sites, Recovery of stolen materials through superdari process (Legal) Principal Purpose of the Job: Effectively manage the security network, assets, material pilferage, risk mitigation, theft perception and redressal in order to ensure site operations are free of any disruptions Typical Day Looks Like AOM wise report on theft and patrolling FIR/DDR registration and clearance of pendency PO and Payments of partners Theft tracker at circle level Police mediation on specific events/incidents Security personnel mediation on critical issues Principal Accountabilities: 1. security manangement services - Manage SMS partners and ensure effective control and monitoring of operations on the ground - Ensure statutory compliances are obtained and implemented in a timely manner - Conduct SMS Partner Governance as per defined framework and review the performance on regular basis - Effective cost management for security management services (SMS) and look for opportunities to optimize the cost - Ensure compliance for Patrolling Beat Plan - Ensure effective utilization of OSDs in terms of defining key deliverables, assigning tasks, review and measure performance 2. Theft Control: - Monitor the external environment and assess potential threats - Ensure effective liasioning with local administrative bodies - Liaise with external authorities such as police officials and other authorities within the jurisdiction of sites - Ensure ground issues are resolved in a timely manner in order to avoid disruptions to sites - Collect and consolidate data from field agencies and ensure protection of assets - Evolve new initiatives / safety projects for theft control at circle leve 3. Site Access & Inventory Control: - Ensure support to estate teams for assured access on the sites with the help from security agencies - Ensure regular patrolling of cell sites is being carried out per defined process and schedule - Ensure VTS compliance across circles - Ensure initiative to reduce captured site and energy thefts 4. FIR/DDR Registration: - Liaison with police for 100% FIR / DDR registration - SMS partner compliance on FIR/DDR registration and assurance returns - Ensure outcome of the FIR is obtained in timebound manner - Submission of closure report for the incidences
