We are looking for a local SEO manager, who is experienced in developing and implementing effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to help drive the company's growth in India. You will help manage offsite and onsite optimization projects and report on performance. You are highly collaborative with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of earning trust from the team and fellow leaders. Thorough understanding of SEO techniques, tools and digital channels is essential to this role, especially in the international market. This is a full-time position, based in New Delhi, India. The candidate will be hired on Iksula- s- payroll and will be working for its client - Etsy, with the opportunity to be working closely with the Global Head of SEO. Etsy currently supports more than 4.2 Million small business sellers worldwide, with thousands of new sellers joining us every month. Etsy also built 100+ million SEO landing pages on the domain and has more opportunity to add more. SEO has been one of the most important organic channels that drives millions of users to the marketplace and brings new customers. Our SEO vision? Be the SEO leader to evangelize SEO and educate on scaling SEO best practises across all teams who update the marketplace. - Iksula is Etsy's staffing partner in India About the Role: - Be accountable for implementing, driving and optimising Etsy's India SEO strategy & roadmap. - Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes - Collaborate across various teams, e.g. international product, translation, Local PR etc - Monitor key SEO KPIs and prepare and present reports regularly - Be updated with the latest SEO and digital marketing trends and best practices - Be a source of knowledge for all thing's SEO, proactively sharing ideas and recommendations to the rest of the business - Support building the right internal SEO tools that support scale and growth of the SEO program. - Work with international teams for growing SEO in India - Expertise in building local links via close partnerships and internal coordination with the PR team - Collaborate with the Core SEO team in the US and apply learnings to Indian market - Closely work with content teams to build long form content and blog articles About you: - At least 2-4 years of proven and successful track record as SEO role in fast paced businesses and enterprises with large sets of landing pages & high trafficked websites. - Proven track record assuming ownership, moving quickly to implement ideas, and delivering results and in a fast-paced online environment. - Can collaborate with cross-functional teams across different time zones - Have experience with Enterprise SEO - Understanding of SQL will be a plus
