Manager - Sales Training - Internet/eCommerce (5-10 yrs)
Key Accountabilities -
1. Partner with the Sales teams and corporate L&D team to understand business and learning strategies
2. Implement the training strategy, program & curriculum for the sales training that increases productivity & performance
3. Oversee program logistics like room, training decks, travel, external venue arrangements etc
4. Design, Develop & Deliver Modules for Sales Induction New Hires & Sales Refresher Existing team
5. Create a post training plan & OJTs for all sessions & manage certification of all new hires
6. Document the metric / reports of the sessions and communicate back to key stakeholders
7. Monitor the progress of the sales teams at pre-defined time intervals & define & monitor ROI
8. Create a PIP Structure for sales employees & manage the PIP implementation
9. Work cross functional to enable their performance improvement and initiate improvement plans accordingly
10. Design and implement new projects to update sales training content
11. Create & own the sales training budget
12. Identify SMEs in the system & manage them to build a pool of internal trainers
13. Serve as a Strategic Partner for the Sales functions Talent Development opportunities
14. To identify & evaluate external trainers for specific sessions, as need be
15. Work closely with various stakeholders & partners across business
Candidate Profile:
- Post-Graduation with specialization in Sales / Marketing
- 6-8 years of work experience in sales training, with minimum 1-2 years in Direct B2C Sales (preferred industries: Tech, e-commerce
- Experience working in a fast-paced set up
- Agility to adapt as per business requirements
- Data Driven, analysing performance data & translating it into actionable results
- Strong Communication & Presentation skills
- Willingness to travel for sessions and meet the sales teams
