We are a start-up that is backed by an International Private Equity firm with a successful portfolio of investments in large profitable

companies worldwide.

The opening at JiffyShip is for a role that will help us develop our business channel in India. The key highlights of this role are as follow


Channel Partner Development (Vendors)

- Deep dive into the logistics value chain landscape and identify potential vendors for the platform offering services for sea freight movement, customs brokerage, trucking cargo solutions, cargo insurance, warehousing solutions and other logistics solutions

- Develop a channel partner network in India as suppliers on the product platform

- Consult with potential channel partners, understand pain points and offer solution via the

- JiffyShip platform to provide additional business volume

- Work with vendor partners and servicing team to on-board signed up vendors and upload their pricing and service data onto our platform

- Work with the servicing and product team to highlight product gaps and market needs that help signing up more vendors and provide a better experience to our users

- Build a healthy pipeline and maintain a consistent renewal rate of seller services on the platform, ensuring that we have a critical mass of channel partners available on the platform at all times

Revenue Channel Scaling :

-Study the shipping client landscape and target import/export clients or Beneficial Cargo Owners (BCO- s) whose needs can be met by our product solution

- Sourcing new opportunities via lead follow-up, cold calls and emails

- Prospect, Meet and demonstrate the JiffyShip platform to service their logistics and movement needs

- Work with servicing and product team to ensure that the shipping experience with our platform remains positive

- Work with servicing team and relationship managers to ensure your clients are trained and well versed in using the system for quoting / booking and tracking their orders

- Build long term relationship with clients and achieve a high frequency of repeat orders from clients on our platform

- Participate in trade shows or industry fairs to seek out new potential clients to introduce our product

- Forecast and plan targets for revenue in conjunction with the business teams for your territories

- Deliver on-ground feedback to marketing and product teams to ensure right campaigns and product strategy is in action

Experience Required :

- A deep familiarity with the shipping and logistics / Freight forwarding industry in the India, shipping and cargo movement rules, overall process requirements at different stages of cargo movement

- At least 2+years of Sales and business development experience, preferably with an NVOCC /Freight Forwarding Enterprise / Logistics Technology Domain Company. exposure of Air/ Ocean freight (FCL/LCL/Export/Import)

- Experience in handling customer escalations, deciphering customer needs and relationship building

Skills :

- Excellent written and verbal communication, complimented by good listening and presentation skills

- Should be able to handle multiple open items on a daily basis and prioritize work time through effective planning

- Is familiar with digital technologies, advancements in the digital logistics sector and is comfortable with digital technology products. Proven ability to close sales contracts and maintain a high client retention
