We at Bloombay Enterprises LLP (The Belgian Waffles Company) are looking for Sales and Distribution Manager in our FMCG segment. Below are the requirements: - Must have current experience in sales and distribution function across consumer related products - Lead strategic planning process to develop a road map for near and long term sales targets and business development objectives - Client acquisition and business development by direct/indirect sales - Excellent experience in building relationships with new customers and enhancing existing relationships to maximize sales & margin returns - Ability to understand competitive analysis and be a knowledge base for the product range - Work on successful distributor plans incorporating sales goals and promotional plans. - Perform research and identify new potential customers, new market opportunities and new product ideas - Experience in FMCG sector on a PAN India scale is a must - A minimum of 3 years commercial experience in leading a Sales & Distribution function for a brand or range of products - Study and evaluate the regional retail landscape in India - Conduct qualitative and quantitative study to understand market potential for FMCG range, relevant and optimal channels, analyze trends, evaluate and benchmark competitor distribution and marketing and devise distribution strategy to grow BWC range - Establish sales objectives and targets by forecasting and developing monthly sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products; work to achieve set sales targets along with marketing team - Identify and build the right retail partnerships online and offline to drive sales for BWC products - Manage relationships and engagement with channel partners (online and offline) including analyzing sales potential, SKU rationalization, pricing and promotion decisions and trend forecasting - Continuously analyze and course correct to drive sales volume, the right product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors. Conduct frequent trade visits to gain valuable insights on stock movement, monthly trends and tweak strategy accordingly. - Build and nurture relationships with retailers and distributors, discuss their evolving needs and assess the quality of the company's relationship with them - Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key demographics - Provide sales support to distribution partners and work closely on POS promotions / marketing / visibility strategy along with marketing inputs - Continually develop knowledge of the business climate, applications and competition for defined geography and accounts - Develop, maintain and execute a territory plan - Continually assess current business distribution channels, develop and evaluate their performance and manage conflict ensuring alignment with territory plans - Maintain data relative to partners, accounts and activities and document customer interactions; Prepare reporting as needed - Gather relevant feedback and on ground insights to assist marketing and NPD teams on strategy and product development Person needs to have a demonstrated track records of establishing relationships with Mordern Trade Formats + General Trade Formats Skills & proficiencies: - Modern Trade Market Knowledge - Proficient in communication - Presentable - Proactive - Good negotiation skills - Target Oriented - Analytical Thinker - Good at building and developing relationships, peoples person - Processes Oriented - Multitasker - Location - Mumbai - MBA from Tier 1 & Tier 2 institutes
