Job Description: Sales Manager - Salary Account

- The Sales Manager - Salary Account in a bank is responsible for driving the acquisition of salary accounts, managing a team of Relationship Officers, and ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction.

- This role requires a strategic approach to market penetration, relationship management, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Targets and Acquisition:

- Achieve assigned acquisition targets for new salary accounts.

- Develop strategies to meet cross-sell targets, enhancing the bank's portfolio.

Team Management:

- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 5-6 Relationship Officers.

- Set performance goals and regularly review the performance of the team.

- Provide coaching and development opportunities to ensure team effectiveness.

Branch Collaboration:

- Work closely with allotted branches to generate new corporate codes.

- Coordinate with branch managers and staff to ensure alignment of goals and strategies.

- Facilitate seamless onboarding of new salary account clients through branch collaboration.

Market Sourcing:

- Identify and self-source corporate codes from the open market.

- Build and maintain relationships with key corporate clients and HR departments.

- Conduct market analysis to identify potential opportunities for salary account acquisition.

Quality and Compliance:

- Ensure high standards of KYC (Know Your Customer) compliance.

- Maintain operational parameters to ensure quality acquisitions.

- Regularly audit and review processes to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.

- Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., MBA, CFP) are preferred.

Experience:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales within the banking or financial services industry.

- Proven track record in managing teams and achieving sales targets.

- Experience in corporate sales or business development is a plus
