Company Profile: We have vacancies as Sales Managers (Banking Vertical) based in Mumbai for our clients who are a highly successful, fast growing, professionally managed MNC organisation - World Leaders in their field. The organisation is very well funded, profitable and has national presence. The positions report to the Director-Sales.
Job Description: Key member of the Sales Team and be responsible for achieving the targeted volumes in the geography in the Banking vertical.
KRAs :
1. Responsible for meeting and exceeding overall sales & revenue targets for west region
2. Drive sales team to achieve sales & revenue from products / services aimed at the Banking segment
3. Ensure highest levels of controls and compliance are adhered to while meeting sales targets
4. Lead new customer acquisition within the assigned customer and prospect base, while retaining and growing key existing Banks customers
5. Implement marketing strategies; by analyzing trends, market mapping,competitor analysis to enable effective decisioning and forecasting of sales numbers
6. Act as product expert, leveraging internal knowledge to build trust and respect with both internal and external customers
7. Drive field sales strategy to consistently achieve set targets
8. Maintain and report accurate business updates for management review.
9. Work closely with the operations team to ensure optimum customer satisfaction
10.Ensure process adherence at all times and error free timely delivery of projects
11.Ensure optimum utilization of available resources.
12. Mentor sales team by regularly counseling, coaching and appraising desired job results
Candidate Profile :
1. Preferably MBAs / post-graduates with 5-15 years of Corporate /B2B sales experience
2. Good understanding of the banking structure, core banking products hierarchy of both Public and Private Sector Banks, key drivers and influencers within the banking system would be preferred
3. Prior experience of having worked with/managed relationships with the risk and credit departments of various banks would be a plus
4. Experience in People management including managing senior sales managers
5. Highly customer-focused and result-oriented
6. Good command over communication and ability to leverage relationship across various stakeholders in order to drive results
7. Strong Influencing and collaboration abilities
