Manager - Risk Analytics - BFS

The candidate will be responsible for developing application scorecards, Collections scorecards, Early warning strategies, Deep dive on portfolio.

Specific Responsibilities :

- Managing data from multiple sources, merge data & preparation of data in standardize formats

- Writing SQL query to pull data from database & building reports as per business requirements

- Designing & Defining report for Risk Monitoring framework

- Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

- Descriptive & Inferential statistics & prepare 360 degree view of data

- Responsible for building statistical models consists of predictive modelling, Regression, Risk Scorecards, Monthly Scorecards tracking, preparing population stability Index, Machine learning, Deep learning,

- Artificial Intelligence etc.

Deliverables :

- Develop Application scorecard for all products

- Develop Behavioural scorecards for collections

- Predictive models for Roll rates & Loss forecasting

Technical Competencies / Skills :

- Analytical Skills : A major part of the job is to determine what data trends mean. Excellent analytical ability, strong number skills, and a clear approach towards problem solving.

- Technical Skills: Technical expertise regarding data models, data mining and segmentation techniques :

a. Knowledge of statistics and experience in using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, R, SAS,Python etc).

b. Basic SQL skills to extract data from SQL data base & Data management using R

- Communication Skills : Should possess good communication skills to write reports/ present

Complex concepts and strategies to management/colleagues.

- Collaboration : Should be a team player & should collaborate with multiple teams to manage data server, data-bases & BI Tool

- Problem-Solving : Need to look at the data trends and recommend solutions for creating more risk parameters

- Detail-oriented, self-motivated and familiar with the workings of the economy, business and markets

- Should have good knowledge of spreadsheets, power point and standard statistical packages

Formal Qualifications :

- Masters in Statistics/Data Science from Tier 1 Institution ( preferred )

- Work experience in retail lending (preferred)
