Manager - Research - BFSI (4-7 yrs)
- Understanding of balance sheet, projected any revenue cost, ratio analysis,
- BFSI - Banking and NBFC
- Regulatory policies n framework of Bank and NBFC
- Brokerage, IB firm or research firms - gm financials, big 4s or IBs
- No international - only domestic research experience
- Research report generation
- Team handling role, equity research candidates also ok
Sector and business related :
- Ability to promptly assess sector level changes and trends and understanding of inter-linkages with the macro economy
- Ability to predict sector developments and foresee changes /issues impacting the industry
- Analyse industry dynamics from all relevant angles (credit supply & demand, market assessment, capital requirement, asset quality, profitability, changing regulatory and competitive landscape)
- Ability to forecast and provide outlook on above key parameters
- Demand forecasting models based on qualitative and, when appropriate, statistical analysis
- Flair to get market intelligence and skill to sense business and commercial insights
- Ability to form hypothesis, validate assumptions, test based on data gathered and write a cogent and logical report
- Author and publish articles to showcase thought-leadership and build franchise for the business
- Support to Senior Manager/Director in making presentations to clients and at seminars/conferences
- Deliver presentations to clients and internal committees
Experience: At least 4-7 years in BFSI domain
Qualification: MBA Finance or CA
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with good awareness about Indian economy and business environment
- Ability to think out of the box and come out with innovative solutions/ideas
- Ability to structure and write high-quality reports
- Strong ppt and excel skills
- Understanding of basic statistical techniques
- Excellent oral communication and presentation skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work across teams within tight deadlines
