Manager - Research - Agri Commodities (6-10 yrs)

We are looking for a candidate who has worked in analysis in agri commodities.

Location: Mumbai

Experience - 6 to 10 years

- Preparing reports on demand, supply and price analysis for various agri commodities. Preference for candidates who have experience in oil seeds, vegetable oils and grains (wheat and corn).

- Estimating demand for agri commodities in domestic and international markets.

- Review of demand and supply /demand balance sheets for various commodities.

- Tracking Imports/ Exports closely and its effect on domestic prices.

- Undertake crop tours and Crop Production Research- State wise & district/zone wise.

- Arrive at acreage and Yields estimation basis and weather - COP data analysis.

- Creating database for prices, exports/imports shipments for various agri commodities.

- Creating database for prices for agro commodities across various centers in India. Analyze price spreads for these centers.

- Presenting demand and supply balance sheet changes in a structured manner to the management both Indian and global for trade decision on a weekly and monthly basis.

- Keeping track of domestic /international markets including Futures market.

- Keeping a close watch on price spreads between Indian and international market

- Analyzing Govt. policy decisions and its possible effects.

- Monitoring government policy changes for exports, imports and trade for various agri commodities and highlighting them to the management.
