Client Details

Our client is a leading player in the financial services player and a part of a huge conglomerate. They are disrupting several traditional banking problems, such as endless queues or lengthy procedures to open a savings by making the entire process paperless & hence significantly reducing costs

Description

- Identify RBI requirements related to Fintech Bank, interact with RBI and relevant stakeholders to ensure that the RBI reporting framework is in place within the specified timelines

- Keep abreast of changing regulatory landscape, RBI guidelines and circulars, interpret them appropriately, inform senior Management / other stakeholders as required and incorporate relevant changes in our process/reporting.

- Ensure that all Statutory Returns including Net demand and time liabilities, CRR, SLR maintenance etc. are prepared as per RBI guidelines/circulars.

- Liase with Technology department to ensure that relevant system applications for RBI reporting are implemented. Ensure seamless interface of RBI reporting with core bank system and minimize the manual feed. Incumbent should have good insight into the various technologies available at the market place.

- Key point of contact in Finance for interacting with RBI. The jobholder is also expected to provide necessary information as and when need arises and during RBI on site audits

- Preparation of financial statement for statutory reporting (IND AS as Banking Regulation Act).

- Compliance of Direct Tax regulations related to Income Tax Act.

Profile

- Highly motivated individual who is a self-starter

- Knowledge of RBI guidelines, Practical Knowledge of Banking

- Prior experience gained within financial services/Banks/ NBFC etc.

- Knowledge of Direct tax and IND AS.

- Good interpersonal skills.

- Well verse with accounting standards and bank regulatory reporting
