Manager - Regulatory - Personal Care

Location : Mumbai

- Assessment of R&D projects for compliance to Indian regulations.

- Ensure regulatory compliance and on-time approvals of all products and projects (FMCG) in India.

- Regular interaction with DCGI, FDA Office, BIS Authorities for licensing & regulatory issues.

- Develop a Regulatory strategic plan for upcoming products.

- Support R&D by initiating change in BIS Standards for continuous innovation.

- Influence upcoming Notifications to minimize business impact and/or strategize internally to ensure compliance in time.

- Handle change control and artwork approval for Regulatory compliance and claims.

- Approve product claims basis the scientific data available/test conducted.

- Defend challenges to brands in ASCI from a technical standpoint.

- Respond to consumer contact escalations/queries regarding quality/safety of products.

- Build strong networks with professionals (Dermatologists, and General Practitioners) & Professional Bodies (like IMA, IADVL, and IJDVL) & leverage these relationships to get endorsements for technology/product.

- Early detection & containment of issues & crises to protect the business operations in India.

Candidate Profile :

- Candidate should be B.Pharma /M.Pharma/ Chemical Engineer from a reputed institute with 6 - 8 years post qualification experience.

- Candidate should have worked in Regulatory function in personal care products
