- To design, Implement & maintain the Product quality specification for fruit & Vegetables, Meat & Fish - Set up, operate and maintain the documentation of quality of product received &.Stored - Ensuring end to end quality for Fruit & Vegetable products, Meat & Fish - Inspection & selection of Farms/suppliers along with the Sourcing Team. - Train own Staff, suppliers & Farmers on Produce Quality, Receiving Criteria.& Handling - Study the deviations in Quality basis on the Seasonality & Availability & recommend the needful - To solve all quality related issues suggest the processes for Produce Handling, Storage & Dispatch. - Coordinating with cross functions (Operations, sourcing team, Technical teams ensuring Quality in Place. - Monitoring Compliance of Pre-packed Produce - To conduct Root Cause Analysis for all Quality Complaints & communicating required corrective action ensuring avoidance of reoccurrence - Vendor Audits for Vendor Selection & Mentoring for up gradation of Vendor wherever needed - Creating Vendor & store quality Performance Dashboards - Ensuring Compliance with Food Safety & Standard Authority of India Schedule IV requirement - Improvising for maintaining a quality of Fresh products on by adding techniques in storage & distribution - Working with Farmers /suppliers by Training & sharing the best practices in collaboration with fertilizer & seed suppliers - Responsible for Quality Assurance for products sold & Quality Processes
