Manager - Quality Assurance - FMCG (5-8 yrs)

Purpose of the Role:
The responsibility of Manager Quality Assurance is to improve the performance of the organisation and achieve a sustained success by maintaining all quality standards. Key objective is to ensure customer satisfaction and to reduce the costs associated with defects.
Qualification & Experience:
- M Sc Chemistry or BE/B Tech Chemical
- Minimum Experience of 5-8 years
Key Deliverables of the Role :
- Drive PQA related processes at plant & subcontract locations
- Drive Q-certification at plant through continuous focus on quality systems documentation, improving understanding amongst team and implementation audits.
- Enforcing consistency in quality of supplies from RM & PM Vendors by tracking their performance & system implementation.
- Ensuring implementation of company's Quality management system as per CQA guidelines in company & Subcontract locations through Process Maps, formulation of Internal SOPs and Format Standardization.
- Conducting Internal Quality Audit at company's locations, CVMS Audits at Vendor Locations - preparing reports, scoring and periodic reviews
- Ensure New Product Development prototype, launch and stabilization
- Responsible for the company Manufacturing Excellence Model/NABL & Lab standardization audit programs both at In-house and vendor locations
- Ensure smooth implementation of QMS and 3M modules in SAP
- Jointly responsible for selecting the right person for the roles existing in PQA team and Grooming PQA team members for higher responsibilities.
- Ensure adherence of Legal Norms related to Statutory Bodies (FDA, Ayurvedic & FSSAI)
- Establishing & managing systems for legal compliance (AGMARK / PFA / MPCB / SWAM)
- Legal compliance of MPCB and PFA
- Ensuring implementation of TPM, 5S and Lab Standardization at Plant and Subcontract units
- Procurement of consumables, chemicals and manufacturing accessories
Skills and Competencies:
- Good communication skills in English, Hindi
- Computer Literacy
- Inter-personal skills
- Basic knowledge of TPM, 5S and Six sigma
Reporting Relationships:
- Upwards Head CQA, Workshead
- Downwards Executive QA, Sr.
Other Key Functional Interfaces:
- Internal Interfaces All Departments, Corporate QA, Legal
- External Interface - Govt officials, Legal advisors, Vendors
