They have aggressive growth plans for India which will be driven by an aggressive portfolio of services. They are looking for a Purchase Manager - India, based out of Mumbai.
Description :
- Broad Portfolio of Products - Raw material purchase of fruits & spices, a must
- Agronomic/Scientific Experience is key
- Ability to manage teams & drive strategy
- Understanding the Raw Material Complexity (number of SKU's, quality of each SKU)
- Analytical + Process understanding
- Previous interactions with local + international teams in business
- Straight forward and result oriented mindset
- Should be a part of local management team
Profile :
An ideal candidate will come with at least 5 years' experience, Should come with a good education background in Agriculture. B.SC(Agri) or MBA (Agri) are more preferred. The person must exhibit strong commercial and contractual awareness and excellent negotiation skills. Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills with staff, clients and vendors are essential, also should be able to co-ordinate with Global Procurement team across the world.
