Manager - Purchase - Construction Firm

- Person should be from Steel, Cement and Power industries Minimum Experience should be 7-10 Years - Mechanical Engg.

- Responsible for purchase of commodities - Procurement of pipes, Pipe Fittings ,industrial paints, Industrial gases , all safety items (PPEs, fire safety, electrical safety, road safety), all types of pumps, all security seals, Seals, IT items, bellows/expansion joints/compensators, Gasket, Lab. Chemicals, Welding Electrodes , Cutting Wheels, Grinding Wheels, V- belts , pulleys , Bearing ,Stationary & housekeeping items

- Packing Items - Seals, Strapping Rolls, VCI Paper, Stickers and Various Types of Tapes (Adhesive tape, filament tape, paper tape etc). Sourcing the most affordable materials for the company's manufacturing process and Controlling the purchasing budget

- Negotiating Commercial terms and conditions

- Items procurement involves standard SOP like RFQ, TR (technical recommendation), CS (comparative statement) and approval note. After final approval purchase order is generated in SAP.

- Expertise in finalizing annual rate contacts with vendors for MRO items.

- Vendors' evaluation is done on periodic basis.

- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of material.

- Initiated e-procurement system for paperless and efficient ordering of materials.

- MIS Reports

- Generating periodic reports using Excel, Word, Graphs and Charts as required by department and management for presentation purpose with unchallenged expertise.
