Job Description :
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Experience in driving and writing high quality winning proposals in a consulting / advisory business.
- Ability to drive and/or formulate tailored proposals, presentations and other materials, and to lead and oversee a team managing this process
- Ability to understand client requirements and structure proposals and presentations that bring out the best of the firm
- Coordinate inputs from various parts of the firm, including delivery teams, sales and markets groups and global repositories
- The individual must demonstrate excellent written communication skills (including the ability to review and edit documents) and understanding of design / look and feel for professional documents
- The individual must be able to do basic desktop research and also provide a research brief to analysts / research teams - so as to gather the right material / inputs for the proposal and/or client presentation.
- Conduct regular proposal progress status meetings and maintain the proposal schedule. Ability to provide incisive inputs during reviews
- Demonstrated ability to organize and lead project team communications, including team meetings and calls, touch points and action item follow-up.
- Person would be an expert in making proposals and he or she will ensure that the proposal is made keeping in mind the true essence of the subject matter.
- Direct the creation and review of a proposal outline that will be used as a key document by teams across the business
- Demonstrated success in preparing teams for client meetings, leading the development of presentation materials, and synthesizing important issues.
- Considerable experience in developing and refining tailored messages and/or value propositions.
- Experience in coaching teams through proposal development.
- Demonstrated ability to establish relationships and rapport with client service teams and firm leadership.
The Individual :
- We are looking for an individual with ideally between minimum 6-8 years post qualification experience of consulting - focused largely on putting together proposals and bids
- Excellent communication and relationship development skills, in-depth understanding
- Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding, deadline-driven environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at one time
- Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously. Good written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Keen sense of responsibility, solid professional standards, excellent track record of dependability.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Prefer a post graduate, with business (MBA) or economics degree from a reputed institution
- Organizational skills and time management.
- Effective communications skills both written and verbal for interface with Clients and co-workers.
- Able to work in a team environment
- Effective computer skills: Microsoft Office Software, and other Company and discipline specific software applications. Excel skills required.
- Proven track record of success in a solution-oriented, professional services environment. Work experience in a global consulting / advisory / professional services firm
