We have an exciting opening with an MNC Consulting Firm based out of Gurgaon. Position: Manager - Project Advisory and Disputes They advise firms involved in construction and engineering projects on the challenges they face in both contentious and non-contentious situations. Their team brings combined industry experience with analytical/forensic skills which enables them to; i. Identify the costs, time, and organizational issues inherent to the projects; and ii. Quantify delay, disruption, additional costs, and the quantum damages suffered as a result of the identified issues. Location: Gurgaon Experience: 5 to 8 Years post a degree in Construction Management - Past experience of working on engineering, construction, manufacturing, energy, or oil and gas projects for a minimum of 5 to 7 years, where he/she was involved in at least one of the following areas; Project Management; Planning/project controls; -Quantity surveying/cost control; and - Contract management / administration - An interest in the discipline of delay and/or quantum forensic analysis; - An ability to manage and motivate others. - Must have great attention to detail; - Must have very good written and verbal communication skills and in particular an ability to produce reports written in English and an ability to make convincing presentations; - A strong ability to perform in a consulting firm structure within which the hierarchy will be considered secondary to an individual's capabilities and complementary skills Job Description: In carrying out work on engagements, the PAD Managers will work with, and under the direction of, the Partner / Director in charge and will have the following main responsibilities: - Ensuring that all data necessary is both available and reliable for the Partner / Director to make decisions; - Be a direct contributor to the achievement of the targets and production of work products including research, forensic investigation and report writing, etc. associated with the engagement; - Contribute to the definition of deliverables, required work plan, and methodology as well as assisting in the organization and management of other project staff; - Direct and/or supervise the work of other project staff involved in the engagement; - Communicate regularly with the Partner / Director in charge regarding the progress of the analysis and the difficulties encountered etc.; -develop and maintain a working relationship with the client and/or instructing law firm; - contribute to the economic monitoring of the engagements on which he/she is involved; - Assist the Partner / Director in business development activities such as developing commercial proposals for potential engagements etc. - Excellent MS Office skills - Strong Analytical Skills - Ability to lead a team Salary for Manager: 18-20L Interested candidates may apply here.
