Position Summary: As a Manager of Products team at the Bengaluru office, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring the product owners and product analysts. You will work closely with global product leadership to define the product roadmap that aligns with the go-to-market strategy and also help your team build roadmaps for their respective delivery teams. You will work closely with the engineering leadership to ensure that the platform supports current and future product vision. You will also be a hands-on Product Manager for one or more of the product/platform initiatives. Responsibilities : - Work closely with global product leadership to envision and build product roadmap and provide continuous mentorship, guidance and support to the products team to help the team understand the vision - Be the hands-on Product Manager for one or more products or platform initiatives and drive the roadmap for that delivery team - Work closely with customer teams to understand the pulse of each one of our customers and proactively drive product roadmap to improve customer satisfaction - As we scale our platform, be the voice of products team for all platform initiatives - Continuously build and improve your knowledge on the Employee Benefits domain (US market) and grow into a domain expert - Work closely with Engineers to help meet the delivery timelines for critical customer commitments and help build predictability on those deliverables for all stakeholders - Mentor products team to build and maintain comprehensive documentation on all products and features - Measure product usage and identify opportunities to improve user retention and stickiness Education and Experience: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field is a must - MBA from a reputed institute is a plus - 7+ years of experience with at least 4 years in a Product Management role is a must - Past experience as a Software Engineer is desired - Must have built SaaS B2B products in a startup environment - Past experience in building and managing teams is a must Required Competencies: - Attention to details with passion for building high quality, scalable products - Adaptable to changing market dynamics - Strong customer focus - Iterative delivery mindset - Strong in UX design fundamentals - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to use entity relationship diagrams, flowcharts and wireframes to convey ideas - Ability to manage a motivated team of junior product professionals
