Functional Objective & Responsibilities:

- Responsible for efficient level of quality production and achievement of standards in respect of productivity yields and capacity utilization

- Directs supervision of departments and preparation of production schedules to meet management objectives in association with Plant Head - Production

- Daily monitoring the production indicators & outgoing quality

- Providing adequate resources and training to associates at various levels as per business needs.

- Benchmark World class manufacturing and improve from present system.

- Maintaining all the documents like specifications, work instructions, corrective and preventive actions and other records of various departments of production

- Implementing and maintaining product identification systems as per quality system procedure throughout the manufacturing process and final product

- Workout future plans for productivity improvement identify bottlenecks for future needs and plans to de- bottleneck.

- Drive CIS systems like SIX SIGMA, Lean, and TQC to achieve business goals

- Identify and record any problems relating to product, process and Quality System and improve upon them in a timely manner

- Co-ordinates with individual Business Team Members / Manager PPC to ensure fulfillment of above responsibilities

- Updating Plant Head - Production / Plant Manager on all Production matters

- To drive and maintain the system like TS-16949 and ISO-14001 in his department

- Coordinate with all functions viz Engg / HR / Supply Chain / MM / Factory Accounting to drive the end objectives of the plant
