Production Manager - Pune Applied Work Dynamics is hiring for a Fortune 500 company based in Ranjangaon (Pune) and below mentioned are the skill sets required for the role : - Set objectives, provide direction and support and coach team to deliver world class performance in terms of service, quality, cost, safety, inventory accuracy, and productivity. - Derive Production targets and ensure compliance to meet the customer requirements. - Work along with Plant Manager and other peers to develop action plan towards Objectives, Goals, Strategies, and Measures (OGSM) for assigned area and confirm linkage to global business strategies. - Implement and ensure system adherence and continual improvement of processes, procedures and ensure continual compliance to the requirements of the standards. - Implement and ensure adherence to environment, health and safety procedures and make safety a top priority - Ensure good manufacturing practices are in place; anticipate and manage through adversity, effectively incorporate improvement programs into the culture of the Plant. - Drive continuous improvement to optimize cost and productivity improvements. - Ensure all non-conformances are analyzed and implement Corrective and preventive actions. - Continually improve product and process quality. - Collaborate with cross functional team, supply chain, finance, sales and marketing, quality assurance. - Drive positive employee relations & industrial relations culture. - Develop a strong, result oriented team by coaching, mentoring and providing regular constructive feedback. - Model and promote the Corporation's Code of Business Ethics and Values. - Positively lead and influence team members to partner together to achieve individual and business goals. - Support developing organizational culture that fosters continuous improvement
