Production

Job Description :

- Responsible for a target delivery of manufacturing/engineering department in units across functions such as Production Operations, Quality Management, Logistics, Engineering , Maintenance, Project Management.

- Could also be involved in managing critical projects that would be going on in the unit.

- Roles would involve man-power supervision as well as resource planning and management needed for production/finished goods output. Roles may have managerial reporting.

Knowledge Required :

- Good manufacturing practices

- Problem solving techniques

- Six sigma approach

- Operations management

- Project management

Qualifying Education :

- B.E. / B. Tech (Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical / Production / Industrial / Manufacturing) from: IITs (Delhi / Bombay / Madras / Kanpur / Kharagpur / Guwahati / Roorkee / BHU) (dual-degrees are also acceptable) | NITs (Warangal / Trichy | Surathkal) NIT Rourkela | NIT Jamshedpur | NIT Calicut |NIT Durgapur

Experience Required :

- Post-qualification work experience of 2 to 3 years

- Mandatory: Managing departments/shifts with product delivery targets in supply chain system

- Additionally, cross-functional / techno-commercial exposure across value chain is preferred

Preferred sector(s) : Manufacturing in FMCG, White-goods, Pharma.
