Job Summary:

This position is responsible for establishing the seasoning factory by building a team of professionals which will lead to high production, quality, and order fulfilment while ensuring the safest working environment possible

Key Job Responsibilities:

- Set up the production of seasoning processing and integrate it with the SCC.

- Build the team for maintaining high production, quality, and output while ensuring the safest working environment possible. Ensure every position is filled, overseeing all Team member by communicating company benefits and compensation policies to each Team Members, providing encouragement to Team Members in order to build the best team possible

- Control the seasoning production process by ensuring accurate shipments by checking daily production to ensure order fulfilment by accurate record keeping, and general line maintenance and staffing

- Performance of all machinery to the highest standard possible.

- Ensuring all workstations have passed relevant quality and Inspection standards, promoting safety on a daily basis, rotation of inventory.

- Overseeing various processing operations and working with other functions in solving problems

- Designing and developing business plan, strategies & budgets for the Seasoning factory

- Manage and plan the production schedule; ensure smooth execution and timely delivery of the products

- Build strategies and developing expertise for the production of blends in seasoning by using current global practices and technology

- Compliance with all Quality and Safety standards: Adherence to all relevant Standards of Safety and Quality

- Identify opportunities for improvement, their root causes, and solutions to correct them within a team-based work environment

- Maximization and improvement in Team efficiency/productivity resulting out of minimal Wastage

Quality Assurance:

- Monitoring adherence to quality systems and comply with ISO quality standards and maintaining requisite documents.

- Implementing quality systems / procedures like Six Sigma, Lean Sigma in the organisation to reduce rejections and ensure zero defect products. - Customer (Internal / external) Satisfaction

- Commissary Scorecard

- Meeting all internal audit requirements.

- Ensuring the statutory compliance, OSHAS certifications, FSSC compliance in place.

- Compliance on the SOP adherence

- Ensuring good manufacturing practices are being followed and ensuring strict adherence to quality standards laid down

- Drive zero food safety complaints. - Operations Feedback

- Ideal use of budgets for specific inputs and areas.

- Internal & External Audits

- Reports

- Business partner feedbacks.

- KRA achievements and tracking.

BASIC QUALIFICATION

- Qualification - Bachelor in Food technology or equivalent (Tier - 1 College)

- Experience - 12 plus years' experience specialised in field of food manufacturing industry with relevant exposure to seasoning blending, Packaging production. Should have experience of at least 3 years in seasoning production and packaging in the preceding 5 years. Should have Team Management Skills & have handled a team size of 8-10

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES

- Food safety and Quality certification

- Having worked in SAP environment will be an added advantage.

- Good understanding for blending and packaging

- Experience of setting up seasoning plant- installation and commissioning

- Knowledge of TPM, Kaizen, Lean Sigma, 5S and autonomies maintenance

- Some experience in production of Chicken/ Dough will be an added advantage
