As a Product Marketing Manager at Plantix, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our agricultural input business on the ecommerce platform. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that promote our product portfolio, increase brand visibility, and drive sales growth. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the agriculture industry, B2B marketing strategies, and a passion for driving positive impact in the farming community.
Product Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute product marketing strategies to effectively position and promote our agriculture input offerings to the B2B audience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and customer support, to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to understand the needs, preferences, and pain points of our target audience. Use data-driven insights to identify new market opportunities, competitive analysis, and customer trends.
Product Launches: Lead successful product launches from conception to execution. Create compelling product messaging, sales collateral, and promotional materials to support new product introductions, ensuring a smooth and impactful launch process.
Content Creation: Develop high-quality content such as product descriptions, videos, blog posts, and case studies to educate and engage potential customers. Leverage content to build thought leadership and establish the company as an authority in the agriculture input space.
Digital Marketing: Oversee the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media and paid advertising, to drive traffic, conversion, and customer acquisition.
Customer Engagement: Collaborate with the customer support team to create effective customer engagement programs and nurture campaigns. Develop strategies to improve customer retention and drive upsell opportunities.
Product Analytics: Continuously monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and product sales. Utilize analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
Brand Management: Ensure brand consistency and adherence to brand guidelines in all marketing materials and communications.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Agriculture, or related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in product marketing within the agriculture industry or related B2B sectors.
- Solid understanding of agricultural inputs, such as fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, and equipment, and the dynamics of the agriculture market.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling content and articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with digital marketing channels and tools, including email marketing platforms, social media, and analytics tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
