MSc- Chemistry /M Tech Degree in Cosmetics with proven track record of New Product Development in Skin & Hair Care products

- Accountable for developing high efficacy products in the skin and hair care categories, as per requirements and in compliance with regulations

- New Product Development Skills: Articulate Concept, standardize formulations, establish stability & performance, industrial trials and dossier preparation on time and in conformance to quality and regulatory standards and in line with the BIS and FDA requirements.

- Experience with Scale Up and Pilot Production.

- Drive the responsibility of new product identification, launch & corresponding product lifecycle. Delivering Products within target cost and Time Line.

- Constantly track consumer need gaps, market trends & competition.

- Contribute to the innovation process and development of NPD pipeline.

- Should be able to manage internal stakeholders [R&D team (Product, Packaging, Quality, Regulatory), Marketing, Supply Chain] and external stakeholders [External 3p vendors/suppliers

- Existing & Potential External laboratories/agencies for potential collaborations etc] and work effectively to deliver new products within required time lines.

- Establish processes for NPD and formulate best practices for R&D and NPD including RM Specifications, SOP for testing and manufacture.

- Should have prior experience in developing products which are naturals, organic or proprietary Ayurveda.

- Continuously improve domain knowledge and build up skills and capability of team

- Manage & secure team resources (people/budget) to deliver projects to the business.

Skills and Competencies:

- Product formulations Expert level skills through education or proven experience

- Capability to up-scale from pilot plant experimentation to industrial scale production

- Ability to provide leadership & technical expertise in New product development journey.

- Knowledge of Cosmetic Regulatory requirements (Domestic / Import/ Export)
