Job Purpose : - To be a part of the Techno-Commercial Team and assist/ work for completing the ordering within the approved budget and time schedule. Dealing with day to day commercial issues and contract closures. Essential Area of Expertise : - Knowledge on City gas distribution business, related products and services specific to a discipline. - Hands-on experience in executing O&amp;M contracts and entering into commercial transactions for Procurement of Services &amp; Goods for City gas distribution / Infrastructure projects. - Experience in preparation of rate analysis. - Demonstrate methodical and precise approach towards commercial and contractual execution. - Understanding of Commercial Terms &amp; Conditions including taxation structure. Roles &amp; Responsibilities : - Review of technical specification, an invitation of bids, commercial evaluation, conducting pre-award meetings and finalization. - Interaction with Engineering, Project execution team, MAAS and other departments. - Preparation of internal documents for approval. - Approval of billing break-up. - Knowledge of Conditions of Contract. - Taxation. - Dealing with bank guarantees and advance payments. - Database of Vendors for all types of Capital Goods &amp; Services. - Departmental MIS. - Co-ordination with Project Managers for operational issues. - Post Award Activities Preparation of Change Order Proposal including Qty./ Rate variation, Extra items, Time Extensions, Contract Closure.
