As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible to successfully execute the overall procurement strategy and objectives for the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensuring appropriate procurement policy and best practice guidance is being adhered to, so that Procurement activity is executed in a way which aligns to the organisation's vision

- Leading and executing the end-to-end strategic sourcing process for key local categories, using best practices

- Contributing to business success by ensuring stock availability at optimum costs to meet the customer service target

- Building and maintaining excellent relationship with vendors, ensuring that vendors are aware of and abide by product policies, delivery and invoice guidelines

- Negotiating with suppliers for favorable pricing and quality

- Negotiating and implementing supply agreements and contracts

- Sourcing products that adhere to the company's brand

- Working directly with the QA team to ensure highest product quality and vendor compliance

- Developing and executing category assortment plan including ingredient analysis, regional replenishment buyer collaboration, and forecasting

- Identifying gaps in Demand and Supply for medium/long term and suggesting capacity expansions to bridge the gap

- Ensuring visibility of cost projections and proactive identification and mitigation of unplanned 3rd party spend through robust procurement risk management

- Driving operational excellence and ensuring procurement activity is fully auditable and compliant as per norms

- Implementing systems to avoid situations like over-stocking or out-of-stock which cause production and financial losses

- Liaisoning with finance department for timely payment of bills

Candidate Profile:

- Degree or Diploma in Procurement with demonstrable experience of 9-12 years in FMCG preferably from Bangalore/South India

- Male Candidates preferred

- Ability to drive aggressive implementation plans and schedules and to integrate sourcing solutions with forecasting systems for 100% fill rate.

- Proven ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities and deadlines with laser-sharp attention to detail

- Experience with supplier relationship management and supplier development programs

- Strong leadership, negotiation and communication skills, and good influence with stakeholders

- Flexible for extensive travel

- Flexible for 6 days a week working structure

Annual CTC: Rupees 10,00,000 to 13,00,000
