Procurement Manager Roles & Responsibility: - Lead category Management for Raw materials and Packing materials and work on costing details - Managing new vendor developments in line with procurement strategy for the company - Float RFQs and finalize half-yearly/annual contracts for key RM/PM - Support marketing team for new product developments and innovations in line with market trends - Work on the resolution of quality issues faced by vendors - Working on continuous improvement and optimization of packaging materials by working with vendors, marketing, and manufacturing teams to reduce cost. - Coordination with vendors for critical items in case of supply issues or quality issues and work closely with technical and quality teams - Monitoring spending and auditing the cost of procurement done by contract manufacturers Educational/ Experience requirements: - 5-7 years preferably in FMCG - Engineering/MBA background (no specific preference toward premiere institutions) - Team management experience
