The Policy Manager will be responsible for driving the day to day operations of the policy team, operational engagement with senior government stakeholders and managing a team of policy associates to carry out policy research, drafting position papers, preparing content and materials for government meetings, drafting minutes of meetings and follow ups with government departments.

Key expectation from the applicants :

- The ideal candidate will be a dedicated individual with a deep interest in the intersection of technology and urban governance. The policy team is currently working closely with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs in collaboration with a wide variety of urban ecosystem thought leaders and partners.

- She/He will bring a passion for solving nubby issues around the use of technology for effective governance in India's environment of competitive federalism combined with a deep drive to bring evidence into policy making and data into decision making by governments.


- S/He will also bring a flair for writing, a strong ability to deal with inherent policy ambiguities.


Candidates with minimum 3-5 years of prior work experience will be preferred. Expertise in team and project management, exposure to urban governance, and experience in senior stakeholder engagement are expected in the ideal candidate.

Location : Delhi. With need-based travel to Bangalore and other locations.

Compensation : Remuneration will be competitive with Indian philanthropy pay scales and will depend upon the candidate's experience levels.
