Manager PMO for Pune location in a Indo-German automotive supplier (8-18 yrs)

We have an opening for a Manager PMO for the Pune location. The Manager PMO would be reporting to the Finance Head.

General information : 

- Our client is a manufacturer of products with a significant market share in India, serving most of the known automotive brands in the country. With a presence in several locations and a headcount of approximately 2,000 people they are a large supplier for their products.

- Following the takeover of the company by a very successful German financial investor in 2020, our client wants to seize the opportunity to turn around the business, its partly loss making programs and realise true organisational change to forge a worldclass supplier

General Duties and Job Responsibilities : 

- To develop and maintain SFC's Power BI capability with a principle focus on the reporting platform within the Finance department and top management team.

- The incumbent's excellent Power BI capabilities will help converting business data into beautiful, well-structured reports, presentations and dashboards. Data will be retrieved with understanding of financial P&L context from databases, finance software and other sources.

Project Management:

1.) Deliver project inputs before time

2.) Communicate progress and manage expectations of stakeholders effectively

3.) Laison between functions to obtain necessary data / information to produce periodic reporting

4.) Prepare KPIs and develop tracking and monitoring mechanism

5.) Develop Digital strategy for the company

Technical input:

1.) Be the go-to person

2.) Train colleagues and be the BI and presentation wizard

3.) Produce and enhance reports and dashboards

4.) Provide inputs and effective data analysis to projects to support achievement of deliverables

5.) Efficiently handle large sets of data and be able to confidently process them into required formats

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor of Arts (Economics), postgraduate (eg. MBA), CA from a reputed institute with excellent academics

- Min. 8 years of professional experience

- Track record in a similar field with reputed organisations (in Finance dept. or close to top management)

Required Knowledge and Skills:

- Languages (min. requirement): Fluency in written and spoken English, Hindi

- Excellent hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, MS Office suite (Excel, Power Point, Word)

- Exposure to Sharepoint and ability to optimize it to our needs

- Accounting software user knowledge

- Self confidence and problem solving attitude

- Mature, effective communication skills

- Ability to design and deliver inhouse training programmes
