Manager - Plant HR - FMCG/Infrastructure (8-12 yrs)

Looking for a Sr HR Representative reporting to Head - HR, India

Broader areas of responsibility include

- Employee Relations across 2 plants in India (Konnagar & Pirangut)

- Counseling/grievance handling of the operators and staff at the plan to maintain a healthy work environment.

- Interact with Union representatives and operators through formal and informal meetings.

- Ensuring maintenance of cordial employee-management relations in the organization, by encouraging workers to voice their opinions on common platforms and inviting suggestions.

- Maintain cordial community relations in surrounding neighborhood.

- Statutory Compliance across all sites and offices in India

- Ensure implementation of labour related compliances within the factory and other district offices.

- Monitoring compliance with Labour statues like PF, ESI, CLRA and Factories Act and attend related legal hearings.

- Ensure that all the employees follow/adhere to the company rules/regulations and Code of Conduct.

- Employee Engagement at the plants

- Conduct fun at work and other engagement activities across various themes to increase and maintain engagement levels.

- Conduct CSR activities in coordination-with external agencies, internal coordination with HO and employees to ensure smooth execution.

- Prepare innovative reward and recognition programs to boost the engagement levels.

- Execution of general HR policies

- Ensure relevant updates are updated on the HR Notice board and also ensure ongoing communication with operators through various interventions.

- Roll out Code of conduct sessions, engagement surveys and follow through for action planning and implementation.

- Administer the leave and attendance system as per policy across the organization.

- Records and MIS

- Maintain records of plant personnel, statutory compliances, etc.

- Publish monthly HR reports like disciplinary actions status, attendance absenteeism, late comings, etc and provide analysis of reports and corrective actions.

- Contingent Workforce Management

- Manage the deployment of contingent workers as per business need

- Review and recommend changes to the employment models

- Framework preparation and deployment of contingent management tools

- Ensure strict adherence to all statutory provisions by the contracting agencies

Candidate profile:

- Degree in Human Resource management or equivalent.

- Desired candidate needs to have 8 plus years in various facets of HR business partnership in manufacturing operations.

- Strong domain knowledge on various statutes

- Experience with dealing with unionized employees is preferred.
