Manager - Performance Marketing - eCommerce (6-8 yrs)

Overview : 

Manage, optimise and improve the performance of Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, Retargeting, SEO, New Media, CRM and Affiliate activity to drive direct to consumer (D2C) eCommerce sales and qualified traffic to eCom portals, like amazon, Nykaa et cetera.

DRIVE CUSTOMER ACQUISITION : 

- Define short and long term strategies for the company owned commerce platforms. Manage, optimise and improve the performance of Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, Retargeting, SEO, New Media, CRM and Affiliate activity for company owned D2C platforms/assets, for the relevant brands

- Work closely with the Head of Digital, digital managers, brand teams and performance agencies to define and implement an integrated customer acquisition strategy for the eCommerce businesses

- Drive highly qualified traffic to the eCommerce website to deliver business growth whilst yielding a strong ROI (Off platform marketing)

- Work closely with the eCommerce Head/Manager to implement strategic revenue and performance driving initiatives to boost qualified traffic to eCom platforms

- Identify key audiences across the acquisition journey, building bespoke communication approaches tailored to individual consumer need states and user missions

- Work cross-functionally with a wide variety of stakeholders from the Digital & Marketing teams

PAID SEARCH & SEO : 

- Manage all Paid Search activity including PPC, PLAs, Google Shopping and RSLAs. Bring down the CPP, CAC and increase ROAS month on month, by optimising the marketing efforts

- Be a single point of contacts for the performance agency, managing workload, budgets & priorities to deliver maximum value and ROI

- Define a comprehensive testing road map incorporating ad copy optimisation, A/B testing of landing pages and destination URLs and implementation of BETAs

- Work with the SEO agency to define and implement the content, technical and back-linking strategy

PAID SOCIAL : 

- Work with the Paid agency to define, launch and test effective Paid Social campaigns and Social Remarketing to drive D2C sales /eCommerce traffic

CRM : 

- Develop the Digital CRM and email Marketing strategy, manage the email briefing, testing and sending process

AFFILIATES & NEW MEDIA : 

- Manage the Affiliate Network - select new partners, run strategic incentives and increase eCommerce sales through this channel

- Investigate and test and learn with New Media technologies and initiatives to drive eCommerce sales growth

- Test and trial new programmatic and precision advertising techniques to accelerate performance

PERFORMANCE AND ANALYSIS : 

- Monitor and analyse the performance of all Digital Marketing activity

- Ensure Digital Business Intelligence is visualized and reported on in an effective and robust manner, supporting the business in becoming more data-driven

- Deliver exceptional commercial performance over and above key business KPIs

- Report and analyse all acquisition activity to optimise performance and inform future strategy

- Assist in creating a comprehensive CPA model and defining key KPIs

- Develop comprehensive analytical insight to help us define key, new consumer groups

Training and Development:

- Training of the internal teams on conversion marketing, and ensuring that they are on the same page of understanding and knowledge of conversion/performance marketing

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : 

- 4+ years experience in Digital Marketing in an eCommerce context. Over all 6-8 yrs of experience in digital space

- Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, Google AdWords, TrueView and DoubleClick is highly advantageous

The Reporting will be to Digital Head.
