- The candidate is expected to lead single/multiple analytics projects for General insurance related to Pricing, Claim Analysis and other analytical projects.

- The candidate should also be able to act as a mediator between team members and stakeholders, clearly communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders, track and report on project milestones and provide status reports to sponsors and ensure all project documents are safely archived following project completion.

- The candidate should be able to develop & conceptualize sophisticated & innovative analytical solutions and actionable insights with high level of business understanding

- The candidate should be able to interact with clients on regular basis, understanding their requirements and transforming them into a solution framework.

- The candidate will work with project sponsors and stakeholders to complete project charter outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and timings

- The candidate should aim to become a trusted partner for all sponsors and stakeholders - engage for capability showcase including onsite visits for opportunity assessment, discussions and piloting solutions.

- The candidate should have knowledge of techniques like Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, GLM, Segmentation, Clustering, Text mining and Decision Trees.

Skills and Experience

- 7 - 10 years of data analytics experience, with 2+ years of Project management experience.

- Experience in P&C Insurance analytics (Claims, Pricing and Marketing).

- In-depth understanding of P&C Insurance concepts

- B.Tech/B.E or MBA or Masters in Statistics/Economics/OR from tier 1 colleges / universities.

- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders

- Excellent communication (written and oral) and customer management skills

- Key technical skills: SAS, R, SPSS, VBA, SQL, CART, Statistical modeling, Insurance tools like Emblem, Rate Assessor, etc.

- Excellent analytical, logical and problem solving skills
