Department : Human Resources Designation : Manager - Payroll Position Summary: This position is accountable for managing payroll &amp; reimbursement processes for all group companies. It will be based at Gurgaon and reporting to the Compensation &amp; Benefits lead. Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Payroll Processing: - Responsible for validating Payroll Inputs with HRMS &amp; Inputs shared by Business HR, before sharing with payroll vendor - Co-ordination with HR for Inputs &amp; changes - Verifying output (Salary Register) &amp; ensuring accuracy of processed data - Responsible for validating Income Tax Computation of Employees (on sample basis) and ensuring correct deduction of TDS from employees - Responsible for validating Bank File for payout within TAT and sharing Funds requirement with accounts before payment - Pay Summary, Variance Reports etc. and getting HR Head clearance for Salary Payout - Coordinating with account spocs in all entities for payouts - Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of Journal Vouchers entries in ERP for all entities - Validating of Tax Declaration Report of Employees (on sample basis) &amp; addressing queries of employees with regard to same - Managing investment declaration &amp; proof submission process as a liaison between employees &amp; vendor - Resolution of employee queries with regard to salary payouts, taxation and year-end documents submission F&amp;F Processing: - Responsible for validating F&amp;F Inputs received from HRBPs and sharing with - Responsible for reviewing F&amp;F Statements for correctness - Sharing F&amp;F statement with employees / HR and query resolution - Ensuring payout within TAT Statutory Payroll Compliances: - Responsible for validation of PF, TDS, SAF, LWF, P.Tax Reports for all entities, as applicable - Responsible for validation &amp; payment of PF, TDS, P.Tax &amp; other statutory challans - Responsible for validation of PF, TDS, P.Tax &amp; other statutory Returns before filing - Form 16 generation &amp; Validation - Responsible for Escalation &amp; Query Resolution - Responsible for assessment of Provident Fund, P.Tax etc. Job Description Reimbursements: - Verifying Reimbursement report &amp; ensuring compliance of policy on a sample basis - Responsible for validating Bank File for reimbursement payout within TAT - Coordinating with account spocs in all entities for payouts - Ensuring Journal Vouchers entries in ERP for all entities - Resolution of employee queries with regard to Reimbursements Audits: - Responsible for Quarter-closing Audits for all companies - Salary/PF/SAF/ESI/EPS/Director's remuneration etc. - Responsible for coordinating for Payroll Internal Audits - Responsible for coordinating with Statutory Audit with regard to Payroll Budgeting/Forecasting People Cost: - Getting the Actuarial valuation done from vendor for all companies &amp; ensuring budgeting in books of account - Employee loan management, and tracking with payroll vendor - Supporting with data for forecasting cost for budgeting, &amp; rolling estimates based on inputs on changes to structure/ assignments, additional approved H/C, compensation &amp; vacancies from Business HR - Creation of cost summary by function, cost elements etc. Vendor Co-Ordination: - Liaison with vendor with regard to observations &amp; changes required in Payroll/ Reimbursement - Conducting Quarterly &amp; Annual review of vendor to ensure smooth processing - Liaison with the Vendor for process / system improvement Trust Management: Provident Fund: &nbsp; - Trust accounting &amp; returns - Ensure books are closed on time - Preparation of cheques and RTGS against settlement and Transfer Cases, getting signed by Trustees and sending to DKM for further Action - Collect EDLI/EGI and EPS cheques from participating entities and get the related payments - Checking and Signing of From 10D and 10C and sending back to Vendor - Checking and signing of From13 Received from Left employees and Send to back Vender - Checking and Signing of Monthly 7IF Return and sending Back to Vender for Further Action - Discussion and negotiation with Investment Agencies and Trustees to investment Monthly Contribution in best Security Products - Trust meetings &amp; MOMs management &nbsp; Superannuation : - SAF Monthly Contribution Cheques &amp; Contribution Details management - Issue Cheques to LIC - Validation of SAF Settlement Form from employees; Trustee Signature &amp; settlement Job Description : - Circulation of SAF statement to all the employees annually - Trust meetings &amp; MOMs management Professional/Technical Accreditations: - CA Inter/M.Com with around 3-4 years of experience - Strong Understanding of Income Tax, tax laws with regard to TDS, P.Tax, PF etc. - Working Knowledge of an ERP - Expert in MS Excel / MS Word / Power-Point Competencies: - Action-orientation &amp; accountability - Collaboration - Ability to build trust &amp; sustainable interpersonal relationships with multiple stakeholders - Strong technical / process skills - Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and drive tasks/ projects to completion
