Operations Manager

Required skills which are a must are as below :

- Call IGL, SEC FRY 14 Reporting, Vena, FFIEC031 (Call Report), FR Y9-C & FR2900

Operations Manager 4 will oversee and provide support for the following :

Basel and FRY14 DIRF, CASTAIM & DCS which requires solid data quality analysis skills the ability to compare indicative data elements against required values to ensure accuracy. Knowledge of tools like SQL and Toad are important.

Responsibilities include :

- Maintain and obtain (new rules or requirements) SME knowledge of the main Regulatory Reporting requirements.

- Performance of comprehensive assessments of new accounting standards from a Regulatory Reporting perspective.

- Preparation of information to board level financial summaries including significant transactions and variance highlights, working efficiently with accounting policy and SEC to collate and prepare financial materials within tight timeframes.

- Partners with Corporate Accounting Policy, Business Controllers and the Regulatory Interpretations Team to ensure that consistent adherence to regulatory rules

- Participate in key projects to support the RBR Reporting Teams including supporting and leading deliverables as directed supporting key strategic Enterprise Finance projects.

- Implement change management effectively communicating regulatory reporting changes to all stakeholders

- Ensure the compliance with requirements under the Companys Regulatory Reporting Governance & Oversight Framework

- Provide input to the impact of reporting deficiencies; communicate and facilitate the discussion with line of business reporting teams for resolution; track and document the resolution implementation cycle from report owner perspectives.

- Set standards for report review process to ensure the fulfillment of report owner responsibility.

Essential qualifications :

- Qualified CA/CFA/ICWA/MBA 15 + years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics and reporting

- Or: Qualified CA/CFA/ICWA/MBA degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business and 2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics or reporting

- 7+ years of supervisory or management experience, directly supervising staff

- Excels at supporting ad-hoc requests for reporting analysis and issue investigation as needed

- Solid experience in US Regulatory Reporting. Strong accounting background is a requirement

- Public Accounting Certification strongly preferred

- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

- Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis

- Ability to lead in a team environment and across all organizational levels and lead a team of accounting professionals

- Superior project management skills including the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently

- Ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into executive level communications

- Ability to translate and summarize complex data into understandable, actionable information and recommendations

- Knowledge and understanding of analytical methods used to: plan, conduct, and direct the analysis of complex business problems
