A large retail Organisation based in Dhaka, Bangladesh is looking for Manager Operations, Fashion Retail to drive increased customer reach,revenues & profitability for the Apparel category, across 180 odd Stores.

QUALIFICATION: Degree in National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) / Business / Social Science / Science.

MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE : Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in managing Apparel in MNC or locally reputed organization, preferably at least 2-3 years as a Category Manager or Head / Retail Operations / Business development role in Fashion, FMCG or relevant industry.

KEY KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Market research, customer and competitor insights and interpretation,

- Fashion forecast / Trends,

- Product Knowledge,

- Clear Understanding of financial numbers and ratios and how it impacts in the business,

- Knowledge on inventory management,

- People management skills,

- Negotiation Skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Prepare apparel business strategies for sales channel on monthly and yearly basis as preset target and cascade down appropriate region strategy, processes and roadmaps to increase Market Growth and Market Share of - Apparel- Category.

- Drive sales performance review on periodical basis against annual sales target of Apparel business in order to ensure corrective action(s) against any gap in order to meet revenue / KPI goals

- Obtain market information by specifying the research to determine customers' needs and desires.

- Provide competitor insights to Product Management team for generating, developing, and curating new ideas and include into features to achieve key objectives for the product line and business.

- Analyze store mapping for ensuring proper distribution plan.

- Determine and execute brand-right site location strategy and appropriate new Store opening plan for Brand.

- Proper follow-up of Product Management store wise and minimize the size gap and maintaining company standard SFM to support business in respective channels.

- Lead, guide and develop apparel team members through appropriate development intervention in order to create high performing team.
