Manager - Operations Excellence - Process Excellence - Supply Chain Management


1. Mandatory Skills :


- Transformations, Process Improvements, Process Excellence, Process Re-engineering, Operations Excellence in the SCM (Supply Chain Management) domain.


- Should have driven end to end transformation projects for the SCM process.

- Needs to be Black Belt certified.

2. Industry : Supply Chain Management. Should have at-least 7 to 8 years of work experience in this domain.

3. Within Remarks section, kindly mention the candidate expertise in transformation projects handled in the SCM domain.

4. Cadre : This is a Manager role & will report to the Senior Manager.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB :

- Design repository of Benchmark practices & platforms in Supply Chain, Sourcing functions

- Exposure to Supply Chain areas would include Demand & Supply Planning, Forecasting, Return & Repair Mgmt, Warranty Mgmt, Allocation, etc.

- Exposure to Sourcing would include Category Mgmt, Contracting Support, Catalogue Mgmt, Supplier onboarding, etc.

- Design Process Maturity Modelling for the above domains.

- Define Lead and Lag metrics for above functions

- Conduct data analysis to understand & improve key metrics using statistical & graphicaltools

- Use Lean tools to identify wastes in the above process.

- Drive transformation in the chosen domains using digital tools.

Job Purpose / Key Role :

- Provides inputs to the project's strategic directions, execution and implementation of its plans & programs

- Should be able to work in liaison with Offerings Managers

- The BE manager shall help manage the overall design and delivery of the leading practices, platforms and metrics in the Supply Chain and Sourcing domains to drive transformation.

- To build, support, sustain and motivate a high-performance team.

- Coordinate and manage assigned capability roles

- To identify, recommend, and implement operational efficiencies to drive continuous improvement in the execution of the processes

Minimum Requirement for the Position :

Education(Preferred education level) :

- Engineer

- MBA

Certification/ Other Skills Required :

- Working knowledge and experience with computers and internet

- Certified Supply Chain professional (CSCP) - preferred

- Black Belt certification

- Minimum of 10-12 years experience working in a team environment

Experience (Equivalent job experience substituted for degree)

- High attention to detail


- Experience in team interactions


- Ability to quickly identify and provide recommendations on issues


- Strong proficiency in English communication - both written and oral

- Strong motivation


- Ability to prioritize and multi-task


- Basic technical knowledge

- A working knowledge of MS Office products
