Operations Excellence Manager- Mumbai Job opportunity with a Swiss MNC. JD : Designation : Operation Excellence Manager Location : Navi Mumbai (Thane) Experience : 12 years or more and Working knowledge of Lean principles. Qualification : BE Mechanical Reporting to : Head of Operations. Purpose of the job : - Responsible for the coordination and management of the Operations functions within the designated Manufacturing Legal Entity (MLE) to deliver profitable, quality products, meeting customer delivery requirements and achieving the company's overall business plans and strategies. Main tasks and responsibilities : - Develop and implement Operational Improvement Plan (in collaboration with Head of Operations PRN APAC) to meet the requirements of the mid-range plan and support the growth aspirations of PRN - Ownership and accountability for the delivery of invoiced sales &amp; GP RFC according to Company guidelines. - Responsible for achievement of operational KPI's, to include measurement, reporting, and continuous improvement. - Ensure full compliance to all relevant relevant management procedures - Accountability for product quality and ensure compliance with relevant company standards and accreditations. - Responsibility for the control of all related cost center budgets - Responsibility for direct costs, overheads, and absorption within operational areas, inclusive of forecasting these key financials - Drive operational improvements to deliver cost, OTD, OCT, product quality &amp; customer satisfaction improvement. - Instruct, direct, motivate, supervise and monitor the performance of all team members - ensure succession is built into the organization - Work with Global Procurement to manage outsourcing network and agree make/buy strategy for parts - Active involvement in the annual budget setting process. - Support the Sales &amp; PPC teams in delivering solutions to meet customer requirements - Proactively engage, support and lead implementation of company initiatives designed to promote a culture of safe working, environmental protection and continual improvement. - All the other duties as relevant to the Operations function
