Manager - Operations - eCommerce

Our client is an exciting,well-funded, e-commerce start up with its Head office in Bangalore.

We are looking for a Manager Operations to put in place and lead business operations. A brief JD is shared below:

Role and Responsibilities :

- Maintenance and execution of Ecommerce activities

- Anchor the business targets and devise necessary strategies to help achieve them

- Manage the vendor onboarding panel and signing off agreements

- Manage day to day operations of the online store, including daily order fulfillment

- Management of customer service

- Set up initiatives to deliver engaging customer experiences that drive conversions and retention

- Gather data from various sources (site analytics, customer research, competitor research) and convert these into insights, opportunities, and road map enhancements

- Collate all information and update monthly Management reports

- Conduct ad hoc reporting on business, stock, and customer service metrics

- Work closely with the Product and the Marketing team to improve business performance

- Work closely with the legal and accounts team for current and future markets for all statutory requirements

- Work closely with the technology team to ensure the desired experience from the website is delivered

- Manage delivery costs and payment gateway charges

- Do all necessary research work for the launch of the platform in future countries

Qualifications and Education Requirements :

- Minimum 3 years of experience within an Ecommerce operations role essential

- Experience handling Ecommerce platforms, online sales, and website content management

- Excellent communication and organizational skills in addition to project management experience

- Financial acumen - ability to reconcile accounts receivables with payments received from sales partners

- Ability to manage tasks simultaneously

- Experience working on Google and web analytics

- Experience evaluating and executing SEO strategies

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with drop shipping business

- Team management
