Key Deliverables:

Drive Influencer programme:

- Use scientific expertise to develop high-quality, publication-ready scientific documents (manuscripts, posters, abstracts, short communications, presentations, etc.)

- Benchmark products and claims such as to understand competition landscape

- Creating nutrition content for influencer program

- Developing training modules and training the doctor detailing field force

Lead and execute clinical trials:

- Effectively engage, collaborate and manage external research associations for scientific projects in research & development, innovation to benefit and advance Foods business (eg. Research collaborations)

- Writing papers and publishing them in various journals

Providing claim substantiation for NPD and existing products:

- Translate scientific data into accurate product or nutrient specific claims/messaging consistent with clinical data/scientific data in line with regulatory guidelines

- Provide nutritional inputs on claim support

- Provide scientific reviews and support on matters relating to food and nutrition science, health, and safety of products/ingredients.

- Identify key innovation opportunities to build the science and research base for current/emerging ingredients for existing and new product pipeline

Critical Competencies:

- Knowledge of running the clinicals and must have run some clinicals in leading hospitals (GCP, clinical trial designs and legalities, protocol designing, CROs trial conduct methodology, statistical tools used in clinical trials)

- Handled claim supports in the past

- Managed influencer programmes in previous organization - converting brand proposition to impactful doctor communication, MR training skills, KOL management

Qualification & Experience:

- MSc, PhD in Nutrition, Biochemistry, Medical science, Pharmaceuticals with 6-10yrs. of experience
