- Explores & identify Power train business opportunity with Automotive OEM customers, farm equipments, etc. for assigned Geographies
- Analyze the assigned markets to obtain latest trends, customer needs, competitors- position and depth of customer to decide focus areas and approach for specific power train category
- Prepare BD pitch for each category based on devised strategy for given market
- Propose and Represent Organization for trade shows, seminars and other business development opportunities in assigned geographies.
- Analyze the identified opportunities to secure new businesses based on technology & strategic alignment, revenue potential and budget.
- Collaborate with engineering team and closely work on identify opportunities for technical evaluation and solution development.
- Collaborate with Finance team for commercial quotes preparation
- Collaborate with Legal, Service, Spares, Manufacturing team to work on legal contract for identified opportunities
- Ensure completion of all commercial contracts with external agencies adhering to commercial terms and market conditions.
- Manage pricing, Quote preparation and all commercial contract.
- Should be conversant with Business case preparation
- Exposure to International Business and conversant with Inco terms etc
- Experience of handling Automotive/ Farm equipment segment customers
- Prior experience of handling B2B business
- In depth knowledge of practices at Automotive customers viz. design & development process, validation process and their expectation from supply partners
- Application knowledge of Engines and other peripherals around engine and overall knowledge of vehicle systems aiding to look for opportunities for company offerings
- Knowledge of Warranty & aftermarket services
- Exposure to drafting Commercial contracts and basic knowledge of legalities/ legal agreements
