Manager - Modern Trade - Healthy Snacks Business (5-10 yrs)
Our client is a food manufacturing and exporting company that specialises in traditional snacks without compromising on the health factor. Their range of cereal based nutritional ready-to-eat snack packs are "Enriched with goodness".
Their products are available across India, Middle East and North America, in stores and through ecommerce websites. The company believes in focusing on providing tasty, roasted, contemporary flavoured and highly nutritious ingredients like Quinoa , Chia , Flaxseeds , Sunflower seeds, Oats, Fenugreek etc. with an Indian twist to the health-conscious current and future generations.
As a Modern Trade Manager, you will be responsible for leading the pan India modern trade, and regional modern trade sales of the company along with quick-commerce.
What you will do:
- Strategizing with Senior Management and executing sales strategy/roadmap to expand modern trade distribution of the brand
- Handling and negotiating with key accounts, channel partners as a representative of the brand
- Designing and executing sales promotion, merchandising and other marketing activities
- Being responsible for P&L for modern trade channels
- Setting targets in sales growth and ROI for MT & quick-commerce and achieving the same
- Developing and leading team of merchandisers, sale promoters etc
What you need to have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in modern trade
- Proficiency in verbal and written English
- Prior experience in handling pan India and regional modern trade retail chains
- Experience in negotiating for TOT in modern trade
- Adept at MS Office and data analysis using SFA apps and MS Excel
- Leadership capabilities
- Willingness and ability to work with Senior Management and Founders team
