Key Responsibilities :
- Set up the distribution network for the MT channel
- Design and Execute the Modern Trade sales strategy & growth plans in line with business strategy
- Listing and availability of products across various modern trade partners
- Design promotional activities and BTL campaigns to attract new customers
- Manage distributors by adequate stock inventory, timely submissions and settlement of claims
- Develop in-store visibility plans in coordination with local Distributor's management and follow-up to achieve timely & effective implementation
- Build & maintain relationship with managers, directors of key accounts
- Set objectives and targets for the sales staff and the distribution network in the assigned area
- Take care of P/L responsibility for Modern Trade channel
Requirements:
- Prior experience as Modern Trade Manager or Key Account Manager
- Has set-up a distribution network from scratch for a brand
- Experience in handling distributors & category heads
- Has relationship with Key Modern Trade outlets in India (Big Bazaar, Foodhall, etc)
- Has handled P/L responsibility in the past
- Decision making oriented & able to quickly react to changing environment
- Skill to negotiate in the commercial markets
