Manager - Modern Trade - Consumer Durable (4-5 yrs)
Job Responsibilities
1. Participate in the development of key account plan (Chain Stores) to achieve volume revenue, inventory and receivables targets as per channel plans
2. Gather and analyze data on consumers, retailers and competitors and use the analysis as inputs for monthly sales forecast
3. Identify new accounts/ new business opportunities/ store openings
4. Conduct regular sales visitation to secure orders, ensure retail presentation according to prescribed standards, track sell through and ensure appropriate inventory mix and level at trade.
5. Track product performance at retail and initiate action planning to capture additional sales opportunity for fast moving products and minimize inventory through timely clearance of slow moving products.
6. Collect receivables on a timely basis.
7. Maintain mutually beneficial and profitable relationship with retailers.
8. Facilitate training and coaching to staff in stores for improving store operations
9. Provide relevant business information to customers to facilitate dissemination on marketing initiatives, inventory, and other related information.
10. Annual Product Road Map in Annual Business Plan
11. Prepare Distribution Price Break-up with appropriate Margin
12. Assist In Preparing Annual Research Budget
13. Market Sizing Segment Trend, Competitive MIS.
14. Generate and Use Consumer Insight for Building Product Innovation in Existing & New Line-Ups
15. Channel wise Model Mapping.
16. Team Handling & Team Management skills required.
17. Displaying & promoting the brand & products with Modern selling techniques
